Corsair’s latest Galleon 100 SD merges Drop’s keyboard design expertise with Stream Deck functionality in a single device.
The new peripheral integrates a full mechanical keyboard with a built-in Stream Deck panel. This combination targets content creators and streamers who want streamlined controls.
Corsair acquired both Drop and the Elgato brand, which owns Stream Deck, in recent years. The Galleon 100 SD represents the first major hardware collaboration between these three entities.
The keyboard features Drop’s signature DCX keycaps and a CNC-machined aluminum frame. The integrated Stream Deck section offers 15 programmable LCD keys directly above the number pad.
Users can assign custom actions, macros, and app integrations to those LCD keys. The setup works seamlessly with Elgato’s existing Stream Deck software ecosystem.
The device supports hot-swappable switches, allowing for easy customization. It also includes per-key RGB lighting and a detachable USB-C cable.
Build quality feels robust, with the aluminum chassis providing a solid foundation. The typing experience mirrors Drop’s reputation for satisfying mechanical switches.
The Stream Deck integration eliminates the need for a separate secondary controller. This saves desk space and reduces cable clutter for creators.
Software setup remains straightforward through Corsair’s iCUE platform. The interface allows for quick configuration of both keyboard functions and Stream Deck actions.
Pricing positions the Galleon 100 SD as a premium product for dedicated users. It targets professionals who require efficient workflows without sacrificing keyboard performance.
