July 2026 Streaming Guide: Best New Shows & Movies on Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu & More

Here’s what’s worth streaming in July 2026 on Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max and more.

July brings a mix of high-profile returns and new original series. “Enola Holmes” returns to Netflix with its third installment. Apple TV+ premieres the second season of “Silo,” the dystopian drama based on Hugh Howey’s novels. Both titles are expected to draw significant viewership.

For those looking to save money, July offers a number of free or ad-supported options. Platforms like Tubi and Pluto TV are adding recent theatrical releases. Peacock’s free tier will also carry several major library titles this month.

HBO Max leads with the debut of “The Last of Us” season three. The series continues its adaptation of the popular video game. Critical early reactions suggest strong storytelling and visual effects.

Hulu adds the complete series of “The Bear” to its catalog. The show remains a standout in the streaming landscape for its intense kitchen drama. Hulu also offers a new documentary on the rise of independent filmmaking in the 1990s.

Amazon Prime Video launches a new sci-fi series titled “Signal Zero.” The show explores first contact with an alien civilization. Early previews highlight its slow-burn narrative and practical effects.

Disney+ focuses on family content with the premiere of “Zootopia 2.” The sequel arrives eight years after the original. It also adds a new Marvel animated series targeting younger viewers.

Streaming bundles continue to gain traction. A combined subscription to Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ now offers a slight discount. Separately, Netflix’s “Standard with Ads” tier remains the most affordable option for ad-supported viewing.

Apple TV+ remains a strong value for quality over quantity. Its July lineup is lean but features prestige dramas and a new nature docuseries. Subscribers can expect consistent, high-production releases throughout the month.
