The product integrates a small camera into the brush head to record video inside the mouth. That footage is displayed in real time on a connected app. The goal is to improve brushing technique by showing users areas they miss.
Journalists were given early access to test the device before its public release. The initial response focuses on its precision engineering and data-driven approach. Unlike standard electric brushes, this model emphasizes visual feedback over vibration alone.
The CameraJet uses a magnetic drive system similar to Dyson’s existing motor technology. It operates quietly and maintains consistent pressure across the bristles. Users can select from three intensity modes, each suited to different gum sensitivities.
Software in the app maps the user’s mouth and tracks brushing habits over time. It generates a score based on coverage, duration, and pressure. Alerts prompt users to focus on neglected quadrants of their teeth.
