JPMorgan Chase has not disclosed the final cost of its new Park Avenue headquarters since the building opened last year.
Estimates place the skyscraper’s price tag at roughly $6 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.
The tower, located at 270 Park Avenue in Manhattan, replaced the bank’s older headquarters on the same site.
It stands about 1,388 feet tall, making it one of the tallest buildings in New York City.
The project took years to plan and build, with demolition of the previous structure beginning in 2021.
The building can house thousands of employees and includes trading floors, offices, and public spaces.
JPMorgan has described the tower as a long-term investment in its workforce and its home city.
The bank has not confirmed the reported $6 billion figure or provided a detailed breakdown of construction costs.
