The Asus ROG Rapture GT-BN98 Pro is the first router to support Wi-Fi 8. This quad-band gaming model delivers exceptionally fast speeds and a rich feature set.
Wi-Fi 8 remains a draft standard, so certification is still pending. Early hardware like this gives buyers a preview of what the next generation will offer.
The router packs four bands and heavy gaming features. Asus targets players who want maximum throughput and low latency.
Performance in testing proved remarkably fast across all bands. The unit handles crowded networks and demanding workloads with ease.
A wide set of tuning options supports both casual users and networking experts. Setup stays manageable despite the depth of controls.
Gamers get dedicated acceleration tools and priority controls. These features help reduce lag during online play.
The GT-BN98 Pro carries a premium price and a large physical footprint. Buyers should weigh the cost against the early-adopter benefit.
Wi-Fi 8 devices will mature as the standard finalizes. This router stands as a fast, feature-packed entry point to the new era.
