Delta Air Lines to Suspend Special Services for Congress Amid Shutdown

Delta Air Lines announced Tuesday it will suspend special services for Congress members. The airline cited the extended partial government shutdown.

The suspension impacts dedicated airport escorts. Lawmakers will also no longer receive “red coat” assistance.

This measure comes in response to the prolonged government closure.
