House Passes $95 Billion Republican Budget for Military Action Against Iran

The House voted to adopt a $95 billion Republican budget blueprint, primarily funding military action against Iran. Republican leaders pushed the measure through despite significant opposition within their own party.

The budget provides substantial resources for the Pentagon to conduct operations. It also includes funding for allied nations and other defense priorities.

Opponents within the GOP expressed concerns over the cost and scope of the plan. Fiscal conservatives argued the spending would escalate the national debt without clear exit strategies.

Democratic lawmakers uniformly voted against the budget package. They criticized the allocation as a blank check for a prolonged military engagement without congressional oversight or public debate.

The budget’s immediate future in the Senate appears uncertain. Moderate Republicans and several Democratic senators have signaled significant reservations about the legislation.

The Senate is expected to debate the proposal next week. Amendments to reduce funding or alter its structure are anticipated during the floor discussion.

The military action authorization remains a separate legislative matter. The budget blueprint determines the financial framework but does not alone authorize the use of force.

President has voiced support for the House budget. Administration officials have urged the Senate to approve the measure without major changes to avoid operational delays.
